One of my favorite parts of camping is the down time when we play board games or cards.
Scrabble is one of our favorites. Rummikub’s another favorite. The sound of tiles clacking against the picnic has become part of our camping soundtrack.
We also play Gin Rummy, poker, and blackjack. Cards and Rummikub are especially easy to take, and we have a travel sized Scrabble game.
I have a feeling Wingspan, a board game involving strategy with a bird theme is our next camping game.
These game sessions around the picnic table have become one of our camping traditions. They end up being some of the best memories we take home.
